Artículo 1. Filosofía

El Festival de Cine Español Emergente (FECICAM) tiene como objetivo apoyar y difundir el cine independiente y de autor, prestando especial atención a nuevos talentos. FECICAM promueve obras de realizadores de Castilla-La Mancha, de España y del ámbito internacional, fomentando el desarrollo de la cinematografía emergente.

Artículo 2. Secciones

FECICAM contará con las siguientes secciones:

• Sección Oficial
  Largometrajes españoles de ficción o documental.
• Sección Cortometraje Nacional
  Cortometrajes españoles de ficción o documental.
• Sección Internacional
  Cortometrajes de ficción o documental procedentes de Europa y Latinoamérica.
• Sección Castilla-La Mancha
  Cortometrajes de ficción o documental dirigidas por personas nacidas o residentes en Castilla-La Mancha, o producciones realizadas total o parcialmente en la región. Esta condición deberá acreditarse mediante la documentación correspondiente.
• Sección Series (o piloto)
  Series o pilotos de ficción o documental de producción española.
• Sección FECICAM OFF
  Cortometrajes realizados por estudiantes, colectivos, institutos, escuelas de cine o talleres audiovisuales.

📌 Todas las secciones estarán abiertas a óperas primas, hasta el tercer trabajo del director/a inclusive, excepto Castilla-La Mancha y FECICAM OFF.
📌 Cada obra podrá inscribirse en una única sección.
📌 El número de obras que puede presentar cada participante es ilimitado.
📌 Los miembros de la organización no podrán participar en competición en calidad de productores y/o directores.

Artículo 3. Formatos

• Largometrajes: duración mínima de 60 minutos.
• Cortometrajes: duración máxima de 20 minutos.
• Series o pilotos: duración máxima de 50 minutos por episodio.

Artículo 4. Inscripción

Podrán presentarse obras producidas a partir del 1 de enero de 2024 y que no hayan sido inscritas en ediciones anteriores de FECICAM.

El plazo de inscripción finalizará el 31 de mayo de 2026. No se admitirán inscripciones fuera de plazo.

La inscripción se realizará exclusivamente a través de las plataformas Filmfreeway y Movibeta.

Al inscribir una obra, la persona responsable de la misma declara poseer los derechos necesarios para su exhibición y asume cualquier responsabilidad derivada de los derechos de autor (SGAE, DAMAUTOR).

Asimismo, se autoriza al Festival a la exhibición pública de la obra durante las fechas de celebración y al uso de fragmentos, imágenes fijas o material promocional con fines exclusivamente culturales y de difusión de la obra y del Festival.

Una vez inscritas, las obras no podrán retirarse del Festival.

Artículo 5. Idioma y subtítulos

Todas las obras cuyo idioma original no sea el castellano deberán presentarse obligatoriamente con subtítulos en castellano en el momento de la inscripción.

Con el objetivo de favorecer la accesibilidad universal y la igualdad de condiciones en la exhibición, todas las obras seleccionadas, independientemente de su idioma original (incluido el castellano), deberán facilitar subtítulos en castellano en el plazo y formato que indique la organización.

La no entrega de dichos subtítulos supondrá la descalificación automática de la obra.

Artículo 6. Jurado y selección de obras

El Festival contará con un comité de selección que elegirá las obras participantes atendiendo a criterios artísticos y de calidad, acordes con la filosofía del Festival.

El jurado estará compuesto por profesionales del sector audiovisual y su fallo será inapelable. Podrá declarar desiertos o compartidos cualquiera de los premios.

El Festival no abonará honorarios (FEE) por la exhibición de las obras seleccionadas ni se hará cargo de gastos de copias de envío.

Las obras seleccionadas serán notificadas a través de la plataforma de inscripción y/o por correo electrónico y deberán facilitar una copia de exhibición en el formato y condiciones técnicas que indique la organización.

Artículo 7. Premios

El jurado otorgará los siguientes premios:

• Mejor Película
• Mejor Interpretación
• Mejor Montaje
• Mejor Serie o Piloto
• Mejor Cortometraje Castilla-La Mancha
• Mejor Cortometraje Documental Castilla-La Mancha
• Mejor Cortometraje Nacional
• Mejor Cortometraje Internacional
• Mejor Director PNR
• Mejor Obra Emergente
• Mejor Obra FECICAM OFF
• Premio del Público

📌 Las dotaciones económicas y/o trofeos serán comunicados oficialmente por la organización durante la celebración del Festival.

Las obras premiadas deberán incluir el logotipo de FECICAM y la mención del premio obtenido en el material promocional de la obra.

Los cortometrajes de la Sección de Castilla-La Mancha que cuenten con el respaldo o la financiación de Castilla-La Mancha Media no serán elegibles para recibir premios, de acuerdo con la política establecida por la entidad. Las obras ganadoras de esta sección se mostrarán en Castilla-La Mancha Media, y la entidad suscribirá un contrato entre los productores y la cadena televisiva.

Artículo 8. Celebración y entrega de premios

El Festival de Cine Español Emergente se celebrará del 5 al 14 de noviembre de 2026.

La organización solicitará la presencia de las personas seleccionadas durante el Festival para favorecer la difusión de las obras. En caso de no poder asistir, se podrá solicitar material audiovisual de presentación o agradecimiento.

FECICAM no se hará cargo de los gastos derivados de la asistencia al Festival ni garantiza la entrega del premio en caso de no asistir a la gala.

La organización no se hace responsable de los plazos y pagos de los diversos premios.

Artículo 9. Aceptación y modificación de las bases

La organización se reserva el derecho de modificar las presentes bases y de resolver cualquier situación no prevista.

La inscripción de una obra implica la aceptación íntegra de estas bases.

RULES – 17th FECICAM – Festival de Cine Español Emergente

Article 1. Philosophy

The Festival de Cine Español Emergente (FECICAM) aims to support and promote independent and auteur cinema, with special attention to new talent. FECICAM showcases works by filmmakers from Castilla-La Mancha, Spain and the international arena, fostering the development of emerging cinematography.

Article 2. Sections

FECICAM will include the following sections:

• Official Section
  Spanish feature films, fiction or documentary.
• Spanish Short Film Section
  Spanish short films, fiction or documentary.
• International Section
  Fiction or documentary short films from Europe and Latin America.
• Castilla-La Mancha Section
  Fiction or documentary short films directed by filmmakers born or resident in Castilla-La Mancha, or productions made wholly or partially in the region. This condition must be duly accredited through the corresponding documentation.
• Series (or Pilot) Section
  Spanish fiction or documentary series or pilots.
• FECICAM OFF Section
  Short films made by students, collectives, secondary schools, film schools or audiovisual workshops.

📌 All sections are open to debut works up to the director’s third work inclusive, except for the Castilla-La Mancha and FECICAM OFF sections.

📌 Each work may be submitted to only one section.
📌 There is no limit to the number of works that each participant may submit.
📌 Members of the organisation may not participate in competition as producers and/or directors.

Article 3. Formats

• Feature films: minimum duration of 60 minutes.
• Short films: maximum duration of 20 minutes.
• Series or pilots: maximum duration of 50 minutes per episode.

Article 4. Submission

Works produced from 1 January 2024 onwards and not submitted to previous editions of FECICAM may be entered.

The submission deadline is 31 May 2026. Submissions received after this date will not be accepted.

Submissions must be made exclusively through the platforms Filmfreeway and Movibeta.

By submitting a work, the person responsible declares that they hold the necessary rights for its exhibition and assumes any liability arising from copyright issues (SGAE, DAMAUTOR).

Likewise, the Festival is authorised to publicly screen the work during the Festival dates and to use excerpts, still images or promotional material exclusively for cultural and promotional purposes related to the work and the Festival.

Once submitted, works may not be withdrawn from the Festival.

Article 5. Language and subtitles

All works whose original language is not Spanish must be submitted with Spanish subtitles at the time of submission.

In order to promote universal accessibility and equal conditions of exhibition, all selected works, regardless of their original language (including Spanish), must provide Spanish subtitles within the deadline and in the format specified by the organisation.

Failure to provide the required subtitles will result in the automatic disqualification of the work.

Article 6. Jury and selection of works

The Festival will appoint a selection committee that will choose the participating works based on artistic and quality criteria, in line with the Festival’s philosophy.

The jury will be made up of professionals from the audiovisual sector and its decisions will be final. It may declare any prize void or shared.

The Festival will not pay screening fees (FEE) for selected works, nor will it cover shipping or delivery costs.

Selected works will be notified via the submission platform and/or by email and must provide a screening copy in the format and technical conditions specified by the organisation.

Article 7. Awards

The jury will grant the following awards::

• Best Film
• Best Acting
• Best Editing
• Best Series or Pilot
• Best Castilla-La Mancha Short Film
• Best Castilla-La Mancha Documentary Short Film
• Best Spanish Short Film
• Best International Short Film
• Best Director PNR
• Best Emerging Film
• Best FECICAM OFF
• Audience Award

📌 Cash prizes and/or trophies will be officially announced by the organisation during the Festival.

Award-winning works must include the FECICAM logo and a mention of the award received in their promotional materials.

Short films in the Castilla-La Mancha Section that have received support or funding from Castilla-La Mancha Media will not be eligible for awards, in accordance with the entity’s policy. Winning works in this section will be broadcast on Castilla-La Mancha Media, and a contract will be signed between the producers and the broadcaster.

Article 8. Festival dates and awards ceremony

The Festival de Cine Español Emergente will take place from 5 to 14 November 2026.

The organisation will request the presence of selected participants during the Festival in order to promote the works. If attendance is not possible, audiovisual material for presentation or acknowledgements may be requested.

FECICAM will not cover any expenses derived from attendance at the Festival and does not guarantee the delivery of the award in the event of non-attendance at the awards ceremony.

The organisation is not responsible for the deadlines or payments related to the different prizes.

Article 9. Acceptance and modification of the rules

Submission of a work implies full acceptance of these rules.

The organisation reserves the right to modify these rules and to resolve any situation not foreseen herein.
